J. Donald Henry, President

Don is the President and a founding principal with Village Partners. He oversees acquisitions, overall project design and urban housing projects under development.

As a Southern California native, Don received his Bachelor of Science degree in Design from California State Polytechnic University. Continuing, he completed postgraduate study at the Peter F. Drucker School of Management at Claremont University and holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

A twenty-two year real estate industry veteran with a unique balance of skills in finance and investments combined with hands-on experience in the planning, design and management of urban residential and mixed-use real estate developments.

Prior to launching Village Partners, he was Vice President of Development/Acquisitions for the Related Companies. Previous to joining Related, Don was a Vice President of Development with Legacy Partners / Lincoln Property Company (Western Region). Preceding his tenure at Legacy / Lincoln, Don was a Senior Associate with the international design firm of Sasaki Associates.

Don and his wife, Melanie, enjoy taking advantage of the Southern California outdoors with their two boys Patrick and John.
